LIAM HEMSWORTH– PENCIL DRAWING
Brief:
Create a pencil portrait of Lima Hemsworth.
Concept:
In this piece, I wanted to challenge myself in drawing a darker background to highlight more of the face area. I put a lot of focus onto the eyes in this drawing because Hemsworth has very prominent ones. The brightness of the face is put more into focus because of the darkness of the background. The hair was one of the hardest parts to draw, I wanted it to really show every strand so I took my pencil and drew line by line every stroke. I used a variety of densities of pencils to show the shadows and different values in the hair.
