FLOWER BOUQUET – ACRYLIC PAINTING
Brief:
Paint a bouquet of flowers in an impressionist style.
Concept:
I have always been a fan of the rustic look with something old and run down with a little bit of beauty to cheer it up. That is what this painting is to me. The flowers bring joy to the scene with their bright colors against the dull background. I love playing with high contrast and I experimented with this painting with using very highly saturated colors agains a very pale background. This painting was created to bring joy into what ever room it is placed because of the cheery nature of the colors in the bouquet. In my apartment, I use this style to design the space and hung this up on the wall in our living room. It compliments the room by adding a little bit of color into a rustic environment.
